    Kicking Players

Section VII. ~ Hosting, Rule g.

For hosts that have OPENHOST enabled, this is what it looks like on http://wiimmfi.de/mkw for them (you will notice there is a [CLOSE] button for the host him/herself and a [KICK] button for all players in said host's room):

The [CLOSE] button is the same as the host resetting his/her Wii or Wii U or ejecting his/her disc. The host will be disconnected from Wiimmfi and everyone else will get the "You were disconnected from the other players" error message.

This is allowed as it is a fast way to reset the room if anyone disconnects and a restart is needed.
*Please note that the 'two restarts per team' rule still applies.

The [KICK] button will disconnect any player(s) that you use the button on. It will give him/her a 91010 error code and can be seen if a player is kicked at http://wiimmfi.de/show-bans.

This is never allowed to be used on players from an opposing team during a GP/race, or when players are joining the room as a way for the hosting team to get top spots (unless the opposing team has given the host consent to kick certain player(s)).

If the hosting team uses this on any player(s) from the opposing team without consent, the hosting team will receive a -100 penalty for each player (assuming they kick more than one player) they kick from the room and that player will be permanently banned from hosting. This applies for outside of WL matches as well!

CTGP Revolution Channel Settings - Regular Track Matches
    Section VI. ~ Game Modifications, Rules a.i. & b.-bx.

    PLEASE READ:

*Any incorrect settings will result in the hosting player's team losing one of their resets (see Section IV. ~ Match Structure, Rule c. for more information) in order to have the host correct their settings. If the settings are not corrected after this 1 grace reset, then the appropriate penalty will be applied.

**The only exceptions to this are rules where the opponent requests settings to be changed. If a request is not given, no reset will need to be used and no penalty will be applied.

For CTGP Revolution there exists a third page of settings that allow the hosting player to change the behavior of a friend room.

The hosting player needs to use the following settings to avoid all chances of getting their team any penalties:

    • The Track Availability setting must be set to "Nintendo Tracks".
      - Rule VI. a.i.
*If it is set to "All Tracks", the hosting player's team will receive a 5 point penalty per race (up to 60 points in penalties for 12 races).
      - Rule VI. b.iv.
*If it is set to "Custom Tracks", the hosting player's team will forfeit the match.
      - Rule VI. b.v.

    • The Specific Engine Class setting must be set to "Normal".
      - Rule VI. a.i.
*If it is set to either "100cc", "150cc", "Mirror", or "150cc & Mirror" instead, the hosting player's team will receive a penalty of 30 points per GP (up to 90 points in penalties after 3 GPs). If any race of any GP is played with those settings, the whole GP will be penalized.
      - Rule VI. b.vii.

    • The Race Count setting must be set to "4".
      - Rule VI. ai.
If it is set to any value above 4, the hosting player's team will receive a penalty of 30 points for each additional race played after 4 (up to 240 points in penalties for 8 additional races played).
      - Rule VI. b.viii.
If it is set to any value below 4, the hosting player's team will lose resets each time a GP ends without 4 races being completed.
      - Rule VI. b.ix.

    • The Thundercloud Autofire setting must be set to "Normal".
      - Rule VI. a.i.
*If it is set to "OFF" instead, the hosting player's team will receive a penalty of 150 points.
      - Rule VI. b.iii.
    • The Thundercloud Effect setting must be set to "Normal" as well.
      - Rule VI. a.i.
*If it is set to "Mega" instead, the hosting player's team will receive a penalty of 150 points.
      - Rule VI. b.iii.

    • The Room Encryption setting must be set to "OFF" if there is someone in the room not loading through the CTGP Revolution Channel.
      - Rule VI. a.i.
If it is set to "ON" instead and there is someone who did not load through CTGP, the room will freeze and the hosting team will lose one of their resets. If it is set to "ON" and the room does not freeze, the war may proceed without any penalty.
      - Rule VI. b.x.

The Room Encryption setting is encouraged to be set to "ON" whenever it is possible for Regular Tracks because it prevents Item Spy programs from working, making the match safer from possible cheats!

    • The Available Vehicles setting must be set to "All Vehicles".
      - Rule VI. a.i.
**If it is set to "Bikes Only" or "Karts Only", the hosting player's team will receive a penalty of 150 points.
      - Rule VI. b.vi.

    • The Host Always Wins Vote setting must be set to "OFF".
      - Rule VI. a.i.
*If it is set to "ON", the hosting player's team will receive a penalty of 150 points.
      - Rule VI. b.iii.
~Players will be using the "Verbose" option for the "List Race Settings During Voting Screen" setting in matches. This is so you can see the host's settings while everyone else is voting to ensure that nobody gets away with using advantageous settings.
